We have been getting ready for Easter which has been a difficult task for both of us for reasons too many to list. We have gotten a later start than we wanted to. We thought it would be fun to share what we have started with and then we will share what the end result is with some things when we are done. This most likely won’t be until the day of Easter so the next post will probably be after Easter. When life throws us curve balls, sometimes we just need to adjust our direction we are aiming. Isn’t that what life is about? We try to keep things as real as possible with our blog and things just don’t always go smoothly and so we just do the best we can.
We like to think that when decorating the details make a big difference. In this blog post we will show just some of the things we have started doing to add some detail to our homes. We have a few from both of our homes. We hope that you enjoy looking for some of the details we have started with and notice even more when we post the finished product next. Adding colored or glitter eggs to a fun jar or candle holder is one way to add some detail. Notice the pastel egg in an urn is just a little finishing touch to a shelf with other Easter decorations. Layering table cloths and runners to tie in a color scheme is another detail to add to a table scape. We hope you enjoy what we have started with and then the end product as well. If you notice a set of bunny ears in the entry way next to a ceramic rabbit those would be Suzanne’s grandson’s that he made at school. He kept putting them there when we were taking pictures and so we thought, why not? They are so cute and he wanted to be a part of things. They actually remind us of when we were kids and would make things that added to the holiday spirit.
We hope you have a very happy Easter and that you get to enjoy the day with your loved ones.
